Every container, donation, useful item, contact, share, business connection and conversation can help move the project closer to placing <strong>108 speakers into 108 communities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The project is focused on getting portable speakers and microphones into remote, regional and under-resourced communities where music, voice, storytelling, youth expression, school events, cultural gatherings and community connection matter.<\/p>\n<h2>Donate Containers for Change<\/h2>\n<p>One of the easiest ways to support the project is by donating eligible 10c containers through <strong>Containers for Change<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAssup Containers for Change code: C11616901<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can quote this code at any Containers for Change refund point in Western Australia and ask for the refund to be donated to WAssup.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible containers may include many drink cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, liquid paperboard cartons and other approved 10c containers.<\/p>\n<p>Every eligible container helps build the speaker fund.<\/p>\n<p>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/wassup.au\/wordpress\/containers-for-change\/\" style=\"display: inline-block; padding: 0.75rem 1.25rem; background-color: #f28c28; color: #ffffff; border: 2px solid #f28c28; text-decoration: none; font-weight: bold; border-radius: 6px;\"><br \/>\n      Donate containers through Containers for Change<br \/>\n    <\/a>\n  <\/p>\n<h2>Local Container Drop-Off<\/h2>\n<p>For local Ellenbrook supporters, WAssup also has a green recycling bin available in the driveway at:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1 Cityview Crescent, Ellenbrook WA 6069<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eligible 10c containers can be placed in the bin to help support the project.<\/p>\n<p>Please only place eligible drink containers in the bin where possible, and avoid general rubbish, food waste or broken glass.<\/p>\n<p>Every eligible container helps build the speaker fund and move the <strong>WAssup 108 Speakers for Remote Communities<\/strong> project forward.<\/p>\n<h2>Local Collection Bags<\/h2>\n<p>For local residents in <strong>Ellenbrook and surrounding areas<\/strong>, WAssup may be able to provide hessian bags for collecting eligible 10c containers.<\/p>\n<p>These bags can be used at home, at small gatherings, workplaces, local groups, clubs or community events to collect cans and bottles for the project.<\/p>\n<p>Once a bag is full, please contact WAssup to arrange return, collection or drop-off where practical.<\/p>\n<p>This helps make it easier for local supporters to collect containers over time without needing to visit a refund point themselves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WAssup Containers for Change code: C11616901<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every bag of containers helps move the project closer to the next speaker.<\/p>\n<h2>Donate Funds<\/h2>\n<p>Financial donations help WAssup purchase speakers, microphones, accessories, freight and replacement parts where needed.<\/p>\n<p>The current focus speaker is the <strong>JBL PartyBox On-The-Go 2<\/strong>, with an estimated RRP of <strong>$499 per speaker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At that price, each funded speaker becomes a practical community asset that can support music, singing, storytelling, announcements, youth programs, cultural activities, school events and community gatherings.<\/p>\n<p>To discuss making a financial contribution, please contact WAssup directly.<\/p>\n<p>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/wassup.au\/wordpress\/contact-wassup\/\" style=\"display: inline-block; The project is being developed as a grassroots community initiative, with the intention of building practical support, clear records and community trust as it grows.<\/p>\n<p>The WAssup Containers for Change code <strong>C11616901<\/strong> may currently appear under <strong>Scott Bibby\u2019s personal name<\/strong> rather than under WAssup Community Services.
